Odd Display On Digital Radio
10 Answers
Over the last few days my Roberts DAB radio (the big one with a full screen and digital radio recorder) has randomly added /ay after the time when the radio's on. So it was 05.58/ay just now, which stays for a few hours, vanishes then comes back some time later. I haven't seen it mentioned online and there's nothing wrong with the radio so what could it be picking up?

I don't think it can do the 12 hour clock, probably as it uses the other one to set recordings. It hasn't done it today so was just Wednesday and Thursday, maybe other people will come along now I've mentioned it. Oddly it was the best DAB made with the full screen and recorder and was stopped soon after I bought it in 2002 and never had another made like it. It's the RD1 if you want to have a look.
