In December the wet season I will be on a small boat cruise on the Amazon for four days with occasional trips on tributaries on a skiff. Should I wear 100 percent cotton; 50 percent cotton/ 50 percent polyester; linen/rayon.
Which would keep me the coolest and allow air circulation.

I will probably dip them in permethrin (insect shield). Any advice. Also what socks should I wear. 100 percent cotton or the expensive high tech hiking socks. Any advice?
