photo of a hit and run on the news this morning
Hi my dad was watching the news this morning and they showed a photo of a woamn that had been hit by a car and a passerby had taken a picture mid hit and the woman was shown half way in the air upside down...my dad was saying how scarey it is that a car can do that...I have tried to see this photo online..I have tried a few searches but found nothing...anyone else seen it and know where I can find it...thanks

It was actually a 12 year old girl and it actually happened in July.

It was on the BBC news site yesterday (or possibly Wednesday). Also, I think it was a video, from a security camera.
BTW, don't panic, it looks horrific, but she only suffered some broken bones, and now almost back to full health.

loopyc, sadly there are all too many who want to see stuff like this - and film of cats being hurled off balconies, children being injured in stunts, teenagers assaulting or insulting teaching staff....

I'm all in favour of newspapers publishing the picture. In the same way that I approved of newspapers printing the picture of the girl who'd taken a heroin overdose.
It's not for people to enjoy. It's to shock and educate.

mollymoo im sorry for my reaction things are still very raw for me before my daughters accident i would of thought how awful for the poor girl in the picture and got on with what i was doing. when you have been through something similar you expect everyone to no how you feel and i no that is not the case. if this picture makes people stop and think whilst driving then its a good thing, im just sorry for my reaction xx
