Mascots

I hadn't realised all football teams had mascots - usually dressed up on the side of the pitch. My husband refused to discuss this with me when I asked what teams had which mascots - obviusly thought it wasn't manly enough.

So basically what teams have which mascots? Can't put this in football as they probably won't answer like my husband.
ps I know Spurs is the cockerel!

Lenny the Lion at Shrewsbury organises events against other mascots to help raise money for different causes.

Leicester city has filbert fox! he's lovely. Filbert street was the name of the old ground but now its the walkers stadium. There is a girl fox too but i cant remember her name off hand.

I love the way they have listed the mascots by divisions and the lower down you go the more ropey the costumes are.

They are all brilliant - though not sure about Mr Posh - not a very cute mascot bloke in a top hat and tails!

I like the Merthyr Tydfil's sheep Shaggy!! My local team is Newport so its Spytty the Dog - I didn't know that so thanks.
How do you get a job as a mascot Octavius? I saw your friend in Theo the Wyvern mode.

Was there a piece on the news where 2 mascots had a bit of a punch up - don't know if anyones got any footage of that?

Once a year- somewhere- they hold a charity race with all these mascots pegging it round a course. I'd love to go and watch it one year- I bet it's hysterical to watch!!!

Ah, would that be the rebelious, yet infamous Chaddy the Owl? Don't know about fight footage, but he did moonie the crowd once!

A couple have had a fight with each other before now, I think the wolves mascot was involved.

Boo the race you are on about is the one Lenny the Lion organises, looks really good.

Thank you that gave me such a laugh. I had a feeling there was a wolf (Wolfie) involved. He was getting ganged up on by the pigs though - bit of an unfair fight.

I loved the bit at the end about Chaddy the Owl when he got flagged by the linesman who thought he was a player (the furry head line made me laugh!)
