Conundrum
Not a new one, but possibly worth another airing. Who's going to be first to get it right?
You are walking down a long road, dying of hunger/thirst.
You come to a fork in the road.
You know that at the end of each road there is a village.
In one village the inhabitants always tell the truth and like to help people.
In the other village everyone always lies (no matter what) and are also cannibals.
The problem is that you don't know which road to go down to get help, food etc..
At the fork there is a person standing, who lives in one of the villages, but you do not know which one.
Remember either this person will always lie, or always tell the truth
You are allowed only one question to ask this person, in seeking help from your dilemma.
What question should you ask this person to find your way to the truth tellers' village, and ultimate salvation?
