Just watched Jenny Seagrove on some panel discussing the morning papers. She is prattling on about "global warming". Apparently the Russians, China and India want a slice of the economic action but because the majority of their production methods are not " eco friendly" they need financial aid. America will not help as it would elevate these countries to their own economic status. The point is, "Global warming" is a load of bo11ocks designed to scare and control the masses. Read this book "Scared to Death" by Christopher Booker and Richard North. It deflates and demythologies a long list of misreported and mismanaged panics, ie, BSE, AIDS, the full bundle culminating in the greatest myth of all time "Global Warming" Our planet has been subject to climate change since day one. It is the result of sun spot activity. The experts don't tell you that mars, mercury and venus are also warming up at the same rate. Our species has been here for 4 million years. The dinosaurs were here 65 million years. They died out 65 million years ago. I dont remember the dinosaurs having fridges, driving cars etc. Maybe all that grass eating and farting saw them off. P.S. Think back to the stories in the last 2 decades were it was pronounced that we would all be dead by now from aids, mad cows or whatever. WE ARE STILL HERE. In short it is all designed to get your money. How much do you think an ECO FRIENDLY fridge will cost in 5 years.

I care about the emissions we relese into the atmosphere, but mainly for the air I breathe.
I agree global watming has just become an escuse to pick our pockets.
Look at India the people have been living in sh1t for centuries finally some prosperity comes their way only for some sandal wearing liberal to tut disapprovingly because they want airconditioning!
In the 1970s in the old Clayton Square an old black man used to walk around with a sandwich board on saying "The End Is Nigh" everyone ignored him as a religious nut, but if he wore a lab coat and called himself Dr. they'd be heading for the hills (on foot).
Acid rain, hole in the Ozone layer, new ice age, super eruption volcoanoes (Yellowstone), mega tsunami from the collapse of the Icelandic land shelf, overdue flu pandemic!??? These have all bn reguarly trotted out and 'e still here.
The worlds been about to end for centuries, now the new religion of science says it is, but we can save it if we give them loads of money and live our lives the way they tell us too.

The true fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter how much effort we in Britain put in, we cannot make a jot of difference untill the USA, China and Russia start doing someting it is hopeless, the difference we can make is compare it to me having a pee in Loch Ness then saying "sorry I have warmed the water".
