Doing a quiz for various years. Question is for 1943. The clue is PC and the answer C the 1st C. I think it is something to do with computing but i may be wrong. can anyone help please?

PC could be Punched Cards which were used in the Colossus in 1943. The Colossus was a computer, but I don't know if it is classed as the first.
