Wasn't very clear on the original question!
(1) 1889 TSBT was patented
(2) 1970 CLAHA for the first time

Have tried ever so hard not to cheat!

2 - Concorde Landed at Heathrow airport
Have looked for number 1, but although there are numerous patents that year none seem to fit those letters. There was a Suspension Bike patented, but not be anyone with initial T. Tesla brought out 15 patents in 1889, but again letters do not fit any of them. Also Tiddlywinks patented that year........

I think The Screw Bottle Top was patented in 1889.
