A 100 question postal quiz. All money raised except the prize of 20 will be donated to MAGPAS. IT'S SUMMER ...all the answers contain a word which can be added to either sea, sun or sand to form another word.
The answers to the questions must be given in full, not just the word, to obtain a mark. The cut off date is 12th Oct 2009 and the prize is 20. There is also a tie break question in case of a draw. Should you require a copy, please send your donation and a SAE (cheques to MAGPAS or CAM) to Diane Wakeling, 3 Lark Rise, Hardwick Cambridge CB23 7XZ.
Please could I ask that requests for answers are not posted until Oct to give those who try to complete without help, a fair chance. I have suggested this with past quizzes and am pleased to say that AB users have been very respectful of my request for which I am very thankful.
Thank you for your suppport, Happy quizzing and lets hope we see a little more SUMMER soon!!!
If my answer to any question was 'QUIZ' the answer required for the sheet would be 'QUIZ' plus the additional word (sun sea or sand) in the right place to make a new word
Does that make sense ? I didnt want to inadvertantly give out an answer hense me using the word QUIZ
Thanks
Taz
No, the answer I need on the quiz is purely the answer to the question....i.e quiz. or say quiz of the week. The sea, sun sand bit is only there to help with the answer I dont need it at all.
Didnt think it was so complicated until you pointed that out.....
hope everyone else is clear
Thats quite correct....I'm beginning to wonder if its all too complicated??
What I require is an absolute answer to the question asked.
The sun, sea or sand is just a little help to make certain your answer is the right one.....
so if the question was 'who played the part of robbie box in big deal' the answer would be ray brooks and you would assume it to be right because ray fits with sun i.e sunray????
sounds more complicated than ever now!!!!
Good Luck
