My area of study will be occult influences within the Nazi party, but I think my lecturer is going to find that is too ambiguous as a title. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could phrase the question or narrow it down a bit?
TIA

I'd suggest 'The dark side of the Nazis', but they didn't really have a light side, except in Springtime for Hitler. Actually, your own first sentence sounds fine to me - clear and unsensational. If that's what you're studying, are you sure your lecturer would object?
try to find this documentary if you can:

great topic. Read a book once on the Spear of Destiny - lots of Nazi searching there.
were they led by it or were there smart and cynical types using credulity for their own ends??
There were a lot of occultists within the Nazi hierarchy, the most notable being Himmler and Goebells.
Goebells glowed and gushed when Roosevelt died telling Hitler that his astrologer had predicted his death and that now the tide would turn in their favour.

Thanks. My lecturer gave me a title in the end. Was Himmler a "Warlock", how seriously did the Nazis take the occult? or words to that effect. I've got to go and find a book on Himmler now!
