what is Slavonic? what gives the liquer Kummel it's distinct flavour?

do you mean slivovicz? (?sp) that's plum brandy. kummel is flavoured with aniseed or caraway and sometimes cumin

thanks woofgang it could be a spelling mistake as i have already had 2 in this Quiz!!!

Slavonic is an adjective referring to the Slavs, Eastern European.
However the former Yugoslavia was famous for its slivovicz, also sp slivovice
