Degree of an angle on a kite
I have a kite, the angle at the top is 75, both sides are 50, what is the angle at the bottom?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If the dimensions given refer to the top half of the kite, as both sides are equal then what we have is an isosceles triangle. This means that the bottom angles must total 105. The bottom half of the kite must also be an isosceles triangle. I think the answer must be either 75 or 105, but since I haven't done any maths since passing my O Level in 1964 I wouldn't like to swear to it, especially after 6 large G&Ts.

Away from maths, kites take several shapes and I suppose this could take the shape known in maths as a DELTA. That would have a reflex angle at the bottom which would exceed 180°.
However given the angles supplied by shebabe44 the missing angle in a delta would have to be 185°.
Can you clarify shebabe44?
