I use tea bags and like a strong brew. I have been buying tetley extra strong but they are quite expensive at £2.28 for 80 this only lasts a week or two and can only be bought in small bags.
Does anyone know from experience any standard brand or own makes which are strong from ideally Tesco's online?
I also see yorkshire tea is same price as one I currently drink at £2.28 for 80 but at least I know to look for it on offer now? Maybe I should try it anyway?
ahh... I was in morrisons at xmas looking maybe thats where I saw it, it must have been expensive also because I chose the tetley extra strong over it?
Redman - Theres a tesco finest Assam tea 50 for £1.49 - This strong black blend comes from the tea plantations of North East India's Bramaputra Valley. It's rich with a deep amber colour and a full bodied, malty taste.
Try Lidl's Gold teabags. They are the strongest I've tasted for a long time. I buy them for my Dad who always leaves the teabag in the cup after brewing and he's mor than happy with them. Don't buy the silver version - it's like cat's pee!
You might also like to try Glengettie teabags if you can get them.
