Invisability Time Travel black holes and Teleportation
2 Answers
Some of us have the romantic notions of the good that could come with these breakthroughs if we were alive and their existance came to fruition but the reality is that these would probably bring the end of mankind especially seeing that we have an evil element on this planet that would happily take us all to hell with them. Imagine Bin laden or Hitler or one of the many greedy evil groups capable of becoming invisible or teleporting and going back or forward in time would be a disaster for obvious reasons. What of machines that could possibly open up a black hole on earth. Just who would go through one and with what protective clothing and would that even be enough to protect you from whatever could be lurking at the end of it? I often think that time travel teleportation and a manmade blackhole are probably impossible and can never be created. With the invisibility I heard that they were developing a suit that could bend light but surely this would never offer true invisibility but be more of a camoflage device? Any thoughts welcomed.

Time travel will never be possible becuase ladbrokes exist
Telportation is prevented by the Heisenberg uncertainly principle, one of the cornerstones of quantaum mechanics.
Man made black holes my well be created in the LHC, indeed small black holes are almost certainly created in many places, in the high energy colisions in the upper atmosphere for example, but they live for nano seconds due to hawking radiation.

It's because time travel and Ladbrokes exist that I have such a great life :-D Yay !
Most of the bad guys mentioned aren't just mad and wanting to destroy, they are looking for benefit. power, etc. The Time Police can run rings around them, before breakfast.
Teleportation has already been achieved in the lab, but it is a bit of a strain scaling up from subatomic particles to everyday objects. Invisibility shields are also well into development for certain wavelengths. As you say it bends light around it. If you can not see what it covers then that is as good a definition of being invisible as you can get.
As for black holes, well you won't need to worry about it soon. As soon as the Higgs is discovered by the Large Hadron Collider then the universe will be sucked into the hole they create and we will all come out the other side fully enlightened. Allegedly.
