I rang my mother and offered to take her out for a Thai (we can't go back to the Indian or they may remember to put our last lot of drinks on the bill ! ) but she declined. We agreed I'd go round there and have a few glasses of bubbles and some nibbles or a takeaway.

Lie in tomorrow morning followed by seafood paella.
