Here in North Devon, we have just gone from a fairly sunny, but cloudy day to a proper hailstorm, with subseqent flooding on some of our roads! So, how is your summer going? Is it just us here, or are you experiencing strange weather patterns as well?
It was lovely and bright in NW London this morning so I strolled to the village to get some breakfast and just as I was heading back the heavens opened and absolutely chucked it down. It's still coming down a little but I can see some breaks in the clouds again.
In Fife it's been raining all day today and yesterday as well. I don't mind it when i'm just chilling in the house though :) I really like watching the rain actually lol
We've had another beautiful day over here in the east, a light breeze but hot with blue skies. Perfect for gardening, washing and cleaning cars which was all on the menu for today. Now what?
Might go out and read for a bit once OH has finished mowning the lawn (too noisy right now) :-)
Warm ,sunny and breezy .We've had a very dry summer here in Norfolk .
It's only the last few weeks we've seen any significant rain . It was drought conditions here earlier in the year .
Been lovely here I Notts, and while it's sunny at the moment there's some very dark clouds moving in from the west, so it will probably be throwing i down in an hour
So, most of us are not having the sunniest of days then. Am I alone in actually loving the British weather? I love hearing the rain pelting down on my neighbours conservatory, just wish I were sitting in it (the conservatory I mean, hehe!). That would be even better. I find the sound of rain so soothing and so relaxing. Lol, I'm sure some of you will think I am totally off me trolley! :o)
East Devon. It has been quite nice here today though a bit windy. But now its started to rain and got very cold. At least I don't have to water the garden.
