council property mold and illness
hiya
council inspector come to view one of their properties which is riddled with mold, this property had the pointing done as well as new cavity wall insulation earlier this year due to the mold last winter. as the 2 tenants are suffering asthma attacks and their 12 week old son is ill alot should this be a priority to get this sorted...
the council are apparently going to get another vompany to come and view the mold (not resolve the issue straight away) and decide on a course of action. The company isnt a local company so the tenants must wait until they are back in their area again and it looks set to be the new year now... all the time the family are sick.
can you advise please as to rights
thanks

when you say 12 week old son ill a lot, what kind of illness do you mean? something caused by mould? is there another room they can put him in? surely not every room in the propery has mould?
sounds like the council are doing what they can - pointing and cavity wall insulation. do they know the cause of the mould?
are they airing the house frequently enough? i used to get mould down thecorrido in my flat because there was no ventilation and i used to dry clothes on the radiator.
