Hello

I have a Bionaire air filter+ioniser model BAP412. It has replaceable filter elements. Found a source on line.

Has anyone dealt with this company? Any comments about them?

Never dealt with them but they hace a good contact us page with a full address and phone number. The company's website is based in Newcastle rather than China, so they look pretty legit to me.

The website passes some other tests as well.

The domain name was registered by an advertising company based in Newcastle (rather than by a private, allegedly 'non-trading' individual - which is what often appears with dodgy websites). It's existed for 12½ years, whereas dodgy sites have usually only been in existence for a very short while.

'Breathing Space' is a trading name of Indoor Cooling Ltd which, reassuringly, has the same registered address as that given on the website. The firm has existed for 14 years and its annual returns have been correctly filed with Companies House.

Thanks for that info. Much appreciated.

Tried to order but site seems to have some sort of error as I can't add anything to basket. Nor can I find anywhere to set up account before ordering.

At the bottom of several pages I get this line -

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /users/breathingspace.co.uk/www/index.php on line 93

Also seems that office is shut till 3/1/12 so not a lot I can do till then.

Tried with FF8 and IE, both the same result.

There is a problem with the code on the site.
Nothing can be added to a basket.
Maybe they messed with it on purpose because of holiday (unlikely)

Further to your post on the other thread, HK, I've also tried to add that item to my shopping cart but it appears that there's an error with the website. Since the problem is 'at their end' there's nothing that either you or I can do about it.

(It's described simply as a filter for the Bionaire Compact Air Purifier but that description seems [according to lots of pages found by Google] to match one or more of the models listed in your original link, so it should be the correct one).
