Is it true that rising damp only rises approx 4 ft up a wall?

Rising damp rarely rises above 1 metre. However the factors that affect how far it rises include the material the wall is made out of...is it porous? The amount of water and the thickness and wall surface area. If you have rising damp you should contact a <a href="http://abacusdampproofing.co.uk/damp-pr

proofing</a>company to fix your damp problem before it causes damage to the rest of your property.
