Something stuck in throat? Sqad please help....

I have had this terrible bug over Christmas and New Year which lasted 5 weeks in all. Part of the problem was heavy head cold, mucus in sinuses, sore throat and a tickly cough which went on for 2 weeks. Added to the problem, while my throat was still sore I accidentally scalded my throat while taking a tablet by swigging my tea while too hot! Two nights ago after a indigestible heavy evening meal (my fault I know!) I was kept awake with acid reflux which burnt the back of my throat, but after two Rennies I managed to get some sleep sitting up. That cleared by morning and I take Lanzoprazole daily anyway for acid problems which work just fine. I now have a slight worry as occasionally I get a sensation as if a tiny piece of apple peel is stuck in my throat and I can't shift it. Its not happening all the time and not painful and is definitely not mucus. Should I be worried?

No.......your throat has been assaulted big time over the past few weeks and the feeling that you are getting is the result.

Monitor the situation over the next 2 weeks and watch out for the development of earache which might alter my advice.
