Thinking on from the 'Favourite Colour' thread. Seeing as mine is green, it reminded me of a song that goes:

Green is the colour, something is the name......?

Is it a football song & do you know the words please?

P.S. (I don't mead Pink Floyd's 'Green is the Colour').

I can remember a 'Blue is the colour, football is the game...', I think that was a Chelsea song, a few years ago now mind.Don't know if any footy teams who play in green also adopted that tune as well though.

Where the 'heck' did I get 'green' from? I must have been confusing it with the 'Green is the Colour by Pink Floyd - must be my age!

Noooo!! Leave it! No offence, smudge, but that gave me a little chuckle :O) Anyway, I suppose Celtic, Hibernian, Plymouth, Yeovil or Northwich Victoria could always adopt it.

Just to confirm, Blue Is The Colour was indeed a Chelsea song.
