sleeping disorder

Does anyone know the medical term for a sleeping condtion where as people can fall asleep randomly where its out of there control for example they could be stood up and fall asleep.

Would be much obliged for an answer

Excuse me laughing at the afflicted but wasn't there a docu on telly about this a while back where the "UK Narcolepsy Society" had a meeting and had about 7 people keeping the minutes of the meeting just in case a few of them fell asleep and missed what was said.
I'm going straight to hell !!

Absolutely correct and, if I remember correctly, at least two were sleeping at the time.
