Can anyone suggest a weedkiller that can be applied to a individual plant and kill off just the selected pant. The plant we want to remove is a Euphorbia Cyparissia. Normally in removing any unwanted growth I would have dug the roo outt but alas, due to advancing age, finding this a bit beyond me now so that is why am looking for a easier option. Another reason for being VERY particular in using a weedkiller of any description is a "demented" 15 year old Labrador who still manages to find the energy to forage for food in the garden
Roundup do a weed killer which is like a big Pritt Stick. You apply it to the leaves and as it's sysyemic, the plant absorbs it and it dies. I used it on ground elder and it worked and I have two dogs. They did not try to eat the plant.
I see from the Amazon reviews of the Roundup that you either like it or hate it. As regards the salt/boiling water would it not affect nearby plants as being water surely, it would spread into the adjacent soil as you pour it on.
