please can someone settle a dispute with the above, if i have a rectangle space which measures 25' down the long side x2 and 10'at each top which makes up the rectangle area of space how much in square metres would this be and how do i get to that amount, its a conflict of opinions and they both get diffrent figures so a fiver goes to charity for the one who is right

250ft² = 23.226m²
Multiply by 0.09290304 to convert sq. ft into sq. m.

basically multiply length which was 25xwidth of 10 to get to 250 then multiply x 0.9290304 which is what i thought, so someone is going to have to fork out. hooray

just out of curiosity how do you do the opposite ie convert from square metres into feet and inches again using rectangle area, if thats possible
divide instead of multiply to convert back
