toshiba satellite laptop running win vista.e-mail from above office not reading pdf files that are attachments.have to copy to my docs then go to
open with options.open with adobe and attachment opens ok.
when opening from e-mail opens in notepad and nonsense on screen.
any help appreciated.

When you go to Open with, don't select adobe directly from the list, but select Choose Program. In that list you can select Adobe, and check the box "always open..."
