I woke up as i have many times with a hangover and thought "Okay i don't feel too bad, i can definitely do stuff today" and after breakfast i started to feel really bleughh so my question is why do you wake up feeling like supergirl but then start feeling progressively worse when it should be the other way around as the more time that's elapsed should surely mean more alcohol has been processed or is it to do with me being up and moving moving the poisoned blood around faster and me feeling like this?
As ael says, it's likely you still have alcohol in your body when you wake up, so essentially you're still drunk.
As it starts to wear off over time, depending on how much you drank the night before, you start to feel like Sugar.
What is irn bru? Iron tablets? I've already had a multi vit which has iron in it. I can't eat at the mo but a fried breakfast does sound tempting. I could actually go for a kebab and may have to hungry house one!
Pink grapefruit is not a hangover 'cure', as far as I'm aware. I've never tried it though. I hate the stuff!
I would just drink as much water as you can, and eat something plain and dry - like dried toast, and then a couple of paracetamol.
I usually go for a bottle of Lucozade, but it tends to be a bit sickly and can make matters worse.
An ice cold beer should do the trick... until that wears off too.
