hello, i have noticed that i lose weight over a number of hours for no apparant reason. i weigh myself before bed. i weigh 11st 3lb. the next morning i eat breakfast and weigh myself. 11st 1lb. so after doing nothing for a few hours then adding weight onto my person i weigh less in total. how is this so? where has my weight gone?

I would imagine it's down to water loss.

It's mostly water, evaporating from your skin and also if you go to the loo in the night. There is also constant calorie usage but over night that would be negligable.

I read reccently that you burn more calories whilst asleep that when watching TV.

I'm going to try sleeping in front of the TV to see if I use up even more! (haha!)

good idea! its mr boobesque who wants to know, he said he doesnt use the loo between weigh ins, does it after!

we were using digital scales and ive told him they are not very reliable but he refuses to believe that could be the answer!!

strain guage scales, regardless of the readout give a different answer each time you use them. The only way is proper balance scales.

Due to loss of liquid as the body is mostly mad of water and the temp allways increases therfore water loss in natural therefore weight loss can be quite extreme in hot conditions. Unlkess your stark naked in an igloo then your gonna die from frost bite tryt that one boobesque o and dont foget to take your scales,
