Well, now that we've seen the actual question (and remembering that the period of a wave is a time, not a distance), the answer is 'D'.

What sort of wave?
Time it takes for one complete oscillation
the inverse of the frequency
I was going to write 'the time taken to complete one full cycle' but 'one complete oscillation' is just as good.

Thank you, Psybbo. I've been working away from home (with 12-hour shifts, doing work designed for two people all on my own) so I've not been around much lately.

A particular wave has a wavelength of 30 metees and a period of five seconds. What is its speed
A.6 meters per second
B.12 meters per second
C.30 meters per second
D.70 meters per second
Use the formula Speed = Wavelength ÷ Period (which you need to LEARN!!!) to work it out for yourself!
