I heard that if you have the base part of the cordless phone next to a computer, the computer will slowly mess up the phone. ex: loosing your conection on the phone, static, etc... Is that true? If so Y?

I'll be interested if anyone else has heard this, my cordless phone's just gone t!ts-up, it sits next to my laptop at home.
Dont know about cordless phones but if my son has his mobile near his pc, the screen goes wappy  Dont know why, I suppose its a bit like cb messing up tv screens
I have a cordless phone permanently sitting next to my PC. It's been there about 4 years and I have never had a problem.
