Back From Holiday

Back from holiday - We got back on Friday after stopping off in Betws y coed - one of my favourite places. I got my co-ordinates mixed up - we weren 't staying in Porthmadog but Harlech in the shadow of the castle. We had an absolutely brilliant relaxing holiday - so relaxing. Next stop Hull next weekend. Good to be back

I was in Betws y coed in May. It's a lovely place. Lovely food in the Bistro. Where did you go while there?

Weather was a bit hit and miss with some beautiful days. Loved Barmouth; Abersoch; Criccieth and Aberdaron

We had a couple of hours in Betws y coed and stopped for lunch in Ty Gwyn hotel where we had a lovely weekend a few years back.

The best thing about Hull is the ferry to Rotterdam.

Never been to Hull, seen the bridge on Top Gear once though.

I lived in Hull many years ago when I worked as the collectors' secretary for HM Customs and loved it - It has changed but it has charm and there is a lot of history there
