On page 14 of the pdf file from the following link http://www.mkweb.co.uk/parks-and-open-space/documents/Britain_in_Bloom_portfolio_2004.pdf shows there's a picture of a big slide somewhere in Milton Keynes. My question is, where?

It looked to me like there was a bump in the middle, like a waterslide I went on in Spain years ago. On that one, if you went fast enough over the bump, you could get your backside in the air and land back on again. After the first time - happy accident - we deliberately tried to get as high off the bump as we could.

It's in the top right hand corner of the Downs Barn grid square (near Downs Barn roundabout).

Woohoo! That's the best answer ever. *****

How about that? Three years after I asked the question, someone's found the answer!

By the way, if anyone's still out looking for Terry Wogan putting the longest televised golf putt for me, I found it on youtube a little while ago. That, by the way, is how I first found the answerbank, because the same question had been asked by someone else, who also hadn't had a response.

I will definitely go to Downs Barn and check it out. Thanks!
It's not that great. I meant to say it's in the top LEFT hand corner. To put it another way, it's in the North-West corner. I'm glad I could brighten your day!
