Must confess that I have hardly slept in the last few hours, so I am cheating. I kept getting phone calls from people in time zones which are far enough distant for them to think it is quite a different hour. And there was no money in it! Still, it was nice to hear friendly voices (he says through gritted teeth) And then one of the small dogs woke up early , with no logic but demanding attention, so peace was impossible. How farmers with proper animals remain sane is a mystery; barley doesn't give birth in the dark !
Anyway, it looks like the weather in Antibes is dry and sunny; I am going down tonight for their Remembrance Day on Monday. Wonder if I should wear my Waterloo medal. Perhaps not; one shouldn't mention the war.
Anyway, have a good day (and remember the fallen) .
Morning Fred and jeffa. xx
Fred, I ALWAYS remember the fallen. I'll never forget. As you can see from my all-the-year-round avatar.
I love hearing your dog stories. They always make me smile. xx
