Blood Clots

Good Morning, I have recently been diagnosed with blood clots on my lungs, has anyone else experienced this problem? with the medication of warfarin I am hoping these will disperse. I would be interested to hear of similar stories that othet folk have experienced. Many thanks for any interest.

Yes, I have had blood clot (pulmonary embolus) on the lung following a hip replacement.
Yes, warfarin is the standard treatment, which was continued for about 4 weeks and all was well.

There are many reasons for pulmonary emboli, but the treatment is the same and standardised.

Thank you so much for your reply I was shocked to have to go into hospital as an emergency and am only now coming to terms with being "poorly" To go from being a 70 yr old speed-king in everything I did this is certainly a shock to the system Thank you once again for your reply. Really appreciated.
