Gosh, this was hard work. Massive problems with waveform generation in AcidPro made this murderous to put together, so I'm just relieved to have finished it. It's a medley of songs from the band's rehearsal on Monday, superbly recorded direct to Sonar so there's almost no background noise - very, very clean.
It's fairly long, 21min 30sec, but that's about 25 song snippets crammed into one medley.

Build Me Up Buttercup= good
Forget You- hard to match the original and took me a bit to recognise the song, but was okay
It Takes Two- fine except a little too brassy
Move like Jagger- good
Brown Eyed Girl good background music
Celebration- background singers sounded a bit flat to me
Relight my Fire- a bit painful even though I loved the original.
Moving on Up- okay but it's always going to be difficult to compare with Heather Small
Adele's Rolling in the Deep- okay
MacFadden & Whitehead's Aint No Stopping Us Now -pretty good
That's just over 11 minutes. I've gotta move on now. Hope this helps

Yeah, vocals are always difficult in rehearsal. To record the way we do (without making noise) we all wear headphones. For me the problem is that my cans are actually a bit too good at blocking exterior noise, and that includes what's called head tone, ie the way you hear your own voice through your head's natural reverberation. When I'm singing in rehearsal I can hear almost nothing of my own voice.
If there's a section of song with BV but no bass I sometimes take one can off the ear, and that can help. It's just that I can't do it often.
I should probably invest in new - cheaper - headphones; trouble is it's quite hard to find them with cables of more than about 1 metre. About 3 metres is ideal.
