For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.At the risk of sounding very 'village idiot', i am of the understanding that an animal (lets say dog) can be cloned to look exactly like the animal it came from. So although identical in looks the cloned animal would go onto to develop its own unique personality therefore (in my mind) being completely different to the animal it came from. I would never want my doggie cloned because even though she is most lovely to look at, its her personailty, uniqueness and character quirks that make me love her so much.
Have i got the right end of the the (genetic) stick?
