I too have very vivid dreams around full moon (which I find very enjoyable)
The moon isn't a planet, it's a satellite of the earth but it does feature in everyone's horoscope, the moon and the sun position in your chart gives you a good clue as to the character of the person. (the house for the moon is cancer, so maybe you mean that the moon in your chart is in cancer?). A waxing moon, coming up to the full moon, is the time to draw things towards you with a Friday being a good night for doing any type of spells and meditations around love and relationships. When the moon is waning, that is the time to release things, ie old habits, bad relationships etc with the nights that the moon cannot be seen specially powerful for this. It is always good to energize your crystals by putting them out in the light of the moon, you can also cleanse them before you do that too. You can try putting a piece of paper in the light of the full moon (ie tomorrow night- thurs - til fri night) and put the paper away then until the dark moon, then write your wishes on it - but don't keep looking at it! Keep the papers - you can do it 13 times a year as there are 13 full moons a year - then look back and see what you have acccomplished!
