Aliens

I have noticed a few threads appearing about the existence of Aliens. I don't know how to say this without sounding completely bonkers, but when I was younger I had an experience one night which has left me seriously emotionally scarred and I rarely speak about it. But I did have an encounter and it did involve experimentation of a sexual nature. I subsequently had to go through considerabe therapy and was interviewed by so many different parties who questioned my sanity on more than one occasion. So if any of you are in doubt about whether aliens exist, you can take my word for it. I'm living proof.

Well if you are certain they do exist then I take your word for it, I always suspected it myself really. 

However I cannot understand why they do not make open contact with us.  If they have the technology to get to Earth then they cannot be worried about any hostility from us as they could exterminate all of us no problem.

Also, why do they look so funny?  Why don't the aliens look like us?

I'm sure how much respect is being displayed in the responses to other people's ideas, but I will this...

I think everything that happens is product of reactions taking place in your brain. And everything that has happened. Maybe I'm thinking more from a religious/paranormal angle, but experiences with the divine (or call it whatever...) stand quite a likely chance of actually happening - at least to them. I think that highlights the oft ignored prinicple that "everyone is different."
