I have a 1/2 acre plot with a 4 bed bungalow and adjoining 3 bed annex in the South East (60 miles from London) which i live in with my family. The man behind me has 4.5 acres with woodland that has just received planning permission for 17 large 5/4/3 bed houses and he's selling to a developer. I have the only acceptable access to the development, (my house will be demolished for the roadway). Please could someone give me an indication of the sort of ££ I should be looking to sell at, many thanks
There maybe some info you can glean from this article. If I remember correctly I think one of the owners of the houses the house was demolished to make the access. You may be able to find out the legals tec on this case it may help
Hi, might be me being thick but how did he get planning permission without access or have you already agreed to sell your property which it doesn't seem like in the question. Usually there needs to be access before permission is granted. I have seen it turned down where I live because of this.
Baldric has located the OP's previous question about this. I too don't understand how the builder could apply for PP (which is not a cheap exercise) without being able to determine clearly how access would be given. Surely the decision about how much the builder was offering/house-owner would be willing to accept would be a very early part of these consultations?
