What do birds do at night?  Sleep, balanced on a tree branch?  How come I never see them flying around, can't they see better in the dark than us Homo Sapiens?

they sleep in nests, its only nocturnal birds eg. owls come out at night.

I think they all go to the pub (The Bird in Hand?). But they never seem to wake up with a hangover, as they all start singing at 5am.

Specially those blooming Wood Pigeons.
