No, time travel has soon becoming a reality (see D Adams).
that's a hard one, dr. i'll get back to you. Prepare for some explanations as to why it'll never happen. ;-)

///No, time travel has soon becoming a reality///

Still trying to work that ^^ one out! ??
What Douglas pointed out is grammar is difficult when discussing events in the past which were becoming events in the future, and vice versa.
I'd like to go back and experience the Second World War. It's always been something I've had a bit of interest in.
"Soon" might be a bit optimistic.

I think they're wrong about the "Grandfather Paradox" demonstrating that time travel into the past is impossible -- just that it's going to raise all sorts of strange consequences. It's probably some sort of "cosmic censorship hypothesis" instead, which states that the Universe doesn't let us do weird things.

Time travel of a sort might be possible, although with the likely caveat that you can't go backwards arbitrarily, and you'd have to set up the "closed timelike curve" at the earliest point in time rather than the latest. That is, you might be able to say "I want to be able to return to when and where I am now", but it's unlikely that you would also be able to say "I want to see dinosaurs" or some such.

Even if it is possible, "soon" is probably optimistic though!
I'd go back and attend one of Catherine the Great's parties. Apparently they were legendary.
Especially for a horse.
With Einstein's theory, travel into the future is entirely feasible, but not into the past. As Jim says, though, 'soon' is a bit optimistic.
It is a reality, just jump on a train to Merthyr Tydfil

It can never happen. I was sent back from the year 2088 to assassinate the scientist whose work would one day lead to time travel becoming a reality, and my mission has been successful.

Visiting Norfolk on a regular basis tells me it is a reality!
