If a nuke was to go off, and water was contaminated due to it. What process would be used to make the water safe??

Is it possible too? And if so, what would the method to do so be?

(I asume distilliation wouldnt be enough.

Thanks all!

(p.s, Im talking about a few Gallons, I.E drinking water. Not a ocean/lake etc)
