Thank You The Right-On Brigade And You Still Want More In The Country?

Labours refusal to build Nuclear power stations coupled with right-on thinking on fossil fuel now means we are likely to be heading for blackouts in the coming years.
And what are doing? Oh yes lower wattage vaccum cleaners and kettles and no incandescent lights and a vain attempt to pump power from useless windmills and solar panels in a country that does not get a great deal of light all year.
The infrastructure is creaking and some on here still want to let more in.

I'm sure Gromit was being sarcastic. In was the public view, this insanity and fear of things nuclear, and every party jumped on the bandwagon until it became clear only we few lone voices were right about needing them until there was an alternative in place. Not that they can be a final answer, one still needs to fuel them but they are part of today's mix, or should be.
I';m unsure what the connection is between that and EU insanity regarding forcing what we can and can not purchase and interfering in things that are none of their *** business. The sooner we are out of there the better.
