Yeah... fan club messaged that the other... truly sad
Agreed slappy sad indeed
Very sad
His wife's put him in full time care??? Seems a bit harsh, surely she could have afforded relevant staff to look after him in his own home!
Absolutely, Boo. Was thinking exactly the same thing myself.
That is very sad in someone so young.
Very sad.

And I agree about the care.
It sounds like he has an rapidly developing, advanced form of the disease.
I don't feel it's my place to judge his wife as I have no idea how I would cope, I also don't know if she has any disabilities or health issues herself.
That is tragic.

I would suggest that full-time care in order to keep Malcom safe and comfortable may well have been the best option - and his wife may have found this a last rsort.

Very very sad.
You don't know how difficult he is to cope with or how much money they have. It could be impossible for his wife.
Anyone who has been following this story for several months will know that Malcolm has been ill for some time now, it was announced a long time ago that he was ill and would very likely be leaving the band/not touring again. His wife has had all that time to work out what is best for him and it seems that she has decided on full time care as the way forward. She isn't the first wife of a dementia sufferer to do this, and she won't be the last. Their financial status (they may be broke for all I know) really isn't relevant if this is what is best for Malcolm.
