Assuming all of that is okay, you might then look on wikipedia for a site for well-known people with his surname. Unless it is an unusual name there will be one. From there you can edit in the name of your scientist, with a one line description. From there you can also create a separate wikipedia stub which could be accessed from the generic site by clicking on the name of your scientist. From there, if you wish, you can put more information into the public domain by building your own website (I recommend wordpress) which is linked from the stub.
