Should We Allow Steroids, Exoskeletons And Other Gadgets To The Olympics?
Springs on trainers and those kinds of things.
It would be a separate one so we'd have the natural olympics and then the enhanced athletes olympics? Obviously things like jet packs, vehicles etc.. wouldn't be allowed but I reckon it would make the olympics a darn sight more interesting and my guess is that more people would watch the enhanced version.
What do you think?
Also a serious question, have you seen the film the running man?
If this was legalised and televised would you watch it? Personally I think it would be the most biggest and popular program on earth. Again, what do you think?

Am I right in thinking they have already allowed disabled athletes to use spring type lower limbs to compete against able bodied athletes ? So when is the Six Million Dollar Man going to be allowed their 4 second mile ?
Woofgang please stay on topic instead of trying to derail my thread.
Oldgeezer, I thought that was unfair but laughed when the guy came last despite his cheating running blades. What idiot allowed those to be used against normal athletes as it's only a matter of time before someone comes up with blades that can jump 10 feet and push the runner to run faster and win everytime against able bodied athletes which wouldn't be fair.

A separate tournament needs separate funding and a separate oversight organisation. Good luck with that.
I don't know how you assessed the likely audience popularity but, if you are just basing a guess on what you, personally, like, then just remember other people think in diverse ways, so a good chunk of them will dislike it.
I mean, the whole idea of the games is to test the speed and strength of the unadulterated human body of one person against those of others.
My main gripe with the current form of the games is I get to miss dozens of events per hour because they all overlap and two weeks goes by in a flash. If they spread them out over a couple of months, I'd probably try to watch most of them.

I heard about the wheel chair athlete that was disqualified after testing positive for WD40! Anyway, the running man, classic 80s Arnie movie of a King story but It is science fiction and I think a huge amount of societal changes would need to take place before something like that could happen, great story though and has Mick Fleetwood in it too! The thing is though the story is really about a good guy being portrayed as a bad guy and as such I'd be worred that the hunted may not really be bad guys.
