just wondered if moon rock had any value not that i own a piece i was just interested as i asked a geologist the other day if they had any in a collection.

How does anyone prove it is moon rock?

I did read somewhere that a lot has "gone missing" from various laboratories around the world.

The Ebay item is not rock brought back to earth by the Apollo missions. It claims to be part of a meteorite formed of rock from the moon's surface displaced by another body crashing into it.
