Since I I have posted threads on wondering if it's wrong/weird to like products/music that are more popular towards female, I'd like to share why I am really in questioned about it: Because there's usually no straight male who buys products like Disney Princess movies (for himself) & rarely any straight male fans of JB/boy bands (who are the most hated music acts ever), you might as well say they are for girls! That's how I grew up thinking: if a product appeals to one gender more than the other, then it is for them. Otherwise, what's the difference?
Plus, as MEMicster1 posted one time, he was once interested in buying "The Little Mermaid" DVD, and my mom would not let me and said "no son, it's okay to like it but it's another thing to actually have a DVD of it, it's for girls."
I think that you shouldn't give a damn what other people think or say. What I make of your perspective is that you are too worried about what other people think.
I think there's a vast difference in a guy liking boy bands and with one who yearns to own The Little Mermaid DVD. But so what, Chandler had 2 copies of Annie.
MM, I'm struggling to get what it is that you expect in answer?
Yes, you are right, not many males buy Disney princess/ boyband/ JB/ Little Mermaid type stuff - Do you want to know why this is?, or do you want to know whether we think it's right or wrong for this fact to be in existence in this day and age?
Are you in marketing and need to know why certain products sell to one gender more than the other? Are you doing a dissertation on the subject?or do you/ someone you know buy this kind of thing and want to know that it's ok to do so?
What exactly is it that you need to find out?
@Peaspeculiars I want answers to "Do you want to know why this is?" and "do you want to know why it's considered wrong for this fact to be in existence in this day and age?"
When I was younger, it was considered "wrong" for women to wear trousers. It used to be "wrong" for women to like beer, smoke cigars, drive cars, own a motorbike, own power tools for heavens sake. How many more times must we say this? Do what floats your boat and tell the disapprovers to go and do one.

Past caring......I wish you well, really I do, but I feel we have sufficiently answered all your question in your other threads and there's nothing more to add......I think you have issues.....poss

think that you might be gay ( sorry if i'm wrong but it's my observation and opinion ).......and as I said to you before, it doesn't matter what anybody thinks, if you like it, for *** sake, do it.
