There is a large bright star in the south east now. Anyone know what it is?

It's probably Venus
I see it, bright as can be.

No expert but I think it might be Sirius. Off to google it.

lol OG ! ....its a grey day again today.

I left Swansea yesterday, on the 05:58 train to Paddington and it was peeing down when I left. Couldn't park very near the station, so got on board the train soaking wet. London yesterday was sunny and very mild...blue skies ! There were people sitting outside all the cafes and Pubs.

I arrived back in Swansea at 19:30, and it was torrential rain, and again I arrived back at the car soaking wet !

I wish I could fly south with the swallows every year !
Thats one of the first pieces of Astronomy I learned more than 40 years ago....If its low, bright and doesn't twinkle, Its Venus.
