Plenty of all year round residents to spot. Then there are birds that migrate here from colder places 'up north'.

Thank you for those links, Chris and Eddie.

I was just feeling a bit melancholy about the birds that I've been watching since spring. I shall miss them but wish them all a safe journey.

Another season almost over. (Flying the coop sounds good Jno but, as I can't, building bird boxes will keep me occupied, OG.)
