OH has masses of moles on his body, especially his back. While we were out today I noticed he had blood on the back of his shirt. When we got home I had a look. The top of a mole had been knocked off and it had been bleeding.
I asked if he had been scratching but he said he hadn't. I told him to get it checked at the doctors but he said no need for that.
I am a bit concerned as I think changes to moles should always be viewed suspiciously.
Has anyone any thoughts please.
Mr.sam has the same. He goes to the dermotologist every 6 months to have them checked, she says it is
very common at 63 and no problem,( just pretty unsightly in my opinion )
MUST be checked out by gp ( sorry for shouting ) any change to a mole or similar ....did he spend much time outdoors without a shirt, perhaps when he was younger ? These things can take a while to flare up and can be very insidious.
Please let us know how he gets on Caran ....it'll probably be nothing at all but much better to know and be sure ....they can all look alike yet there can be one which is trouble.
After teenage years spent on the beach with very little sun protection ( who knew we needed it then ) I get my skin checked regularly x
